In the late nineties, I decorated the window of party cafe Odessa in Leiden many times.
Sometimes to advertise an event in the cafe, sometimes just to catch the eye.
In a sense, it was performance art as well: Odessa is on a busy shopping street,
and hundreds of passers-by would see me at work.
I always designed the painting so I could finish it in one day.
